How do I send customer statements?

Invoicing & Financial Documents  |  Updated 19 July 2026

For a single customer

Open the customer (search top right), then click Statement. You will see every invoice, receipt and credit on their account with a running balance - from there you can email the statement to the customer or download it as a PDF.

For all customers (month-end)

Go to the Statements page under Customers/Sales. It lists customers with outstanding balances, including an age analysis (current, 30, 60, 90+ days), so you can see at a glance who owes what and for how long - and send statements from there.

Who receives the email?

Statements go to the customer's email address - and a customer can have multiple email recipients (eg. the owner and their bookkeeper). Set these up on the customer's details page.

If a customer disputes a balance, their statement is your friend: every document on it can be opened, resent or edited directly from the statement view.
