Step 1: Start the quote
Go to Customers/Sales in the top menu and click the +Quote button on the right. You can then create a new customer, search for an existing customer, or create a cash quote.
Shortcut: on the customer list, click +New Quote next to the customer's name.
Step 2: Fill in the details
Under Quote Details, check the customer name and date, and optionally give the quote a title. Under Quote Items, enter each item's quantity, description, price and any discount.
If the Stock module is enabled (and you have permission), the Type column lets you switch between stock entries - which search your inventory as you type - and manual entries. Your default preference for this can be set under Admin > Company Settings in the Stock section.
Step 3: Save and send
Click Save Quote. From the preview you can email it, print it, download a PDF, or make further edits.
